Thanks to Cindy Jobbe for the tip on the Crete-Monee High School evacuation around 8 a.m. Cindy spotted an ambulance and fire truck “and everybody standing outside to the west side.”

Crete Police Chief Jim Paoletti says there was a false fire alarm at the building, “followed by an asthma attack.”
